skeletal ivory contorts and writhes
on a crimson backdrop
blood, cold and dripping
washes over drained and lily-white skin
bones jutting beneath pallid flesh, twisting
tendons, jousting with violent claws
the eternal dance rages on
unnamed masters pulling the strings
